Many of us love Disney – yes even now I’m in my 30s and about to become a mother, I can never turn down a Disney marathon! And I love doing Disney nails.
I think it reminds us of our childhood and takes us back to the times when life was simple. I particularly love the classics; Cinderella, Lion King, Snow White and Sleeping Beauty are some of my favourites! What is yours?
Disney nails are popular, because they are colourful and joyful. There are SO many to choose from, but here are a selection of designs I have done recently… Enjoy!
Minnie Mouse
Here is an easy design for some Minnie inspired nails! I love the polka dot, it is synonymous with Minnie Mouse and can be done in any colours! (It’s also super easy for nail beginners!)
Mickey and the Disney Castle
Another super easy design of a Mickey balloon and the Disney Castle, done using lines! This can be done in any colour at all, I felt the glitter for the castle nail made it extra magical!
Tale as old as Time
There were so many characters to try for Beauty and the Beast, I decided to just go for Belle in this design, but I might just dedicate a whole nail art series to all the different characters. This design includes a stained glass effect for the rose, which can be done on a clear tip if using extensions. I recommend a fine glitter background if not!
Adventure is out there...
I love Up! The story is just amazing, even though it never fails to break my heart. I wanted to capture the imagery most associated with the film, which is the house and of course those balloons!
We're all mad here!
This is my take on the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland. There were so many ways to do this character but I liked the idea of stripes! I mixed the colours myself using various gels to get the closest purple and pink I could.

Ok, so Star Wars isn’t typically Disney but it has been bought by them and it is all on Disney+ so here we go! I did this design of a Storm Trooper and some light sabres.
Perfectly Wretched
I wanted to include a more abstract design, so this is my take on 101 Dalmatians. The designs could of course be used separately on different nails, or as tip designs would look fab!

This was a nail art set completely dedicated to Toy Story, I started off just doing Woody and his shoe with Andy’s name on, but then I wanted to try Buzz and then Sporky and and and! So much fun and love the designs.
