Due to the current COVID-19 guidelines, we invite clients to arrive at the exact time of their appointment. We must thoroughly sterilise inbetween clients and need time to do so, therefore, early arrivals may not be granted access if this is not complete. As additional time is now needed following each appointment, to clean, if clients are late by 15 minutes or more we reserve the right to cancel the appointment without refund. As a courtesy to all our clients a prompt appointment schedule is adhered to, late appointments may not be honoured. Treatments begun late will be shortened in consideration of the next client.
At Sass and Gloss we have a strict 24 hour cancellation policy in order to accommodate the high demand of appointments. This policy applies across the board whether booked in person, on the phone, via email or online through our website. We are happy to cancel or reschedule appointments, providing we have at least 24 hours notice. For the avoidance of doubt failure to notify Sass and Gloss within 24 hours will result in the loss of the appointment and 100% cancellation fee or loss of a bundle item. No refunds will be given to cancelled or rescheduled bookings. Bookings with less than 24 hours notice will not be downgraded and the full value at time of booking is payable. Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late for their appointments will risk losing their appointment and being charged in full. Please note in the event of a late arrival, we may not be able to carry out the complete treatment, you will however be charged for the full value of the treatment that was made at time of booking. A no-show and repeat cancellations are required by the system to then only book via our app and pay in full in advance of treatment.
Groups of 3 or more will require a 50% deposit made via BACs. An invoice will be sent for the booking and once the deposit is settled the booking will be made. We will require 48 hours in order to change or cancel the booking and deposits are calculated according to each treatment.
All treatments purchased as a bundle must be paid for in full at the time of purchase. Treatment bundles are non-refundable and non-transferable between accounts. All treatment bundles must be redeemed within 12 months of the date of purchase; any treatments left unclaimed after 12 months will be forfeited.
Treatment bundles that have expired will not be extended.
If paying with a gift voucher you must give details at time of booking. Gift vouchers must be presented upon arrival for the booked treatment. Failure to attend an appointment will result in full or partial payment for your visit to be deducted from your gift voucher. We will however honour the remaining balance of the voucher for future use.
Gift vouchers are valid for a period of 12 months. Sass and Gloss will not accept responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged gift vouchers.
Gift vouchers may not be exchanged for cash or other vouchers. Change will not be given, but the balance will remain on the voucher until its expiry date.
We ask clients to look after their property while at Sass and Gloss as we are unable to take responsibility for any damage or loss of personal items brought to the appointment.
During COVID-19 it is advised you bring minimal personal belongings with you to reduce risk of spread.
In the event of your nail treatment failing (chipping (NOT caused by you), lifting, snapping (NOT caused by you) or fading) within three days, please report this with a photo to holly@sassandgloss.com and we will offer you a free touch-up on the effected nails within seven days. Outside this period there will be a small fee, please contact for more info.
Eyelash extension services require a patch test at least 24 hours prior to your first treatment; this is for your safety.
Providing no adverse reactions take place, we will be happy to treat you safely.
Please let us know if you have overly sensitive skin or any specific allergies that may be affected by our treatments or products. We can then arrange a patch test for you to make sure you are being treated safely. You will be asked to fill out a medical questionnaire before your treatment. This is for use by your therapist to ensure your treatment is 100% safe.
We cannot be held responsible if you do not disclose any medications or condition that may affect your treatment. Please inform your therapist or technician of any changes in your health on subsequent visits.
If you are unsure of being able to have a particular treatment, please inform us at least 24 hours prior to your appointment.
It is advised to check with a medical professional if you are unsure about your risk.
Rest assured that your privacy is important to us, and we are committed to maintaining the privacy of any personal information we collect from you. We do not share any of your personal information with any third party organisations and we abide by the principles of UK data protection legislation and GDPR.
As per current governmental guidelines, we are required to take contact information from you for the purposes of Track and Trace. This will be your name and phone number only. These will be stored securely and destroyed 21 days after your appointment.
All purchases are final and we are unable to exchange or refund.
Various promotional offers are run throughout the year, date and time restrictions may apply. Offers may not be used in conjunction with each other.
Sass and Gloss reserves the right to cancel any promotions running at any given time, without prior notice.
Please note we reserve the right to refuse treatments; disrespect and rudeness towards Sass and Gloss staff will not be tolerated.
Sass and Gloss reserve the right to amend Terms and Conditions as and when it is considered necessary to do so. Reasonable notice will be given for this.
